The sun rises and sets, with each glorious day that unfolds we are given a gift to explore and make our wildest dreams come true. From the depths of the forests that house ingenuity and pure expression, we too can bring our creativity forward to create a life that has not only been breathed but has fulfilled its potential to be a masterpiece. We all have something special to offer and it is by finding the perfections in the imperfections that we come to accept who we truly are. As humans we have the ability to create and like vines that intertwine we can choose the connections we make that will lead us to rise or to fall. We choose what trail we wish to take and it is up to us as we gaze at the opportunities which road we want. We can take the easy path or the hard path. It’s not the destination that’s important, we are all going to the same place but it’s the journey of how we get there. From the tests and trails of character, we may end up bruised and broken but it’s the will of the human spirit that keeps going after the dead end that makes someone amount to greatness. There is no end, just another way, a continuous cycle of interchanging roads and it is up to our work of life (art) how we will proceed. Don’t give up, don’t accept “no” as an answer, you can do it. You have to believe, because if you don’t believe in your own dreams how can you expect anyone else too? Be so convincing that it’s a fact and that which was only a dream will become material. Do what makes your heart pump with excitement that makes your eyes wide and washes away any form of being jaded. See the extraordinary in the ordinary and life will never be dull. It’s all here and now, your potential is here and now. In a seed rests a forest. You can create whatever you believe you can. So aim high, for the only limits you have are the ones you impose and accept for yourself.
Mother, what does it mean to you?
To me it is that figure which unboundedly serves, loves and offers her self to her children. A perfect representation of the potential of love we all have within us. I wish all those mothers that have given and loved so much. I also wish on this day that we acknowledge not just human mothers but all mothers. Mother Earth is the ultimate mother and the best example of motherhood we have. May we respect and cherish her. May we not forget that without mothers we would not be here. Let us praise the feminine that holds the space for energy to grow and expand. For we all have the potential of this sacred feminine energy within us. That which endlessly creates and radiates love. Strengthen the yin within you and see life come into balance naturally.
Happy Mother’s Day, happy earth day.
The lives of human beings have become more technical, complicated, and material than ever before. We are in the age of Kali Yuga, the age of darkness ( according to many eastern traditions).
There is emotional and moral turmoil but basically we are in ignorance of our true nature. We identify with our bodies more and physically we are more dense then ages before. As we do not identify with our spirit but rather with our bodies, it creates suffering on many levels. Not only do we have to suffer that our value comes from our outward appearance but we will eventually die. Additionally, this causes us to look outward for gratification and to take life very seriously as we think that everything we do in this life is to be materially successful.
This race to be materially abundant has caused us to loose our connection to the earth, to treat the Earth as a comodity that can be used and abused like an object. Instead of seeing the earth as a living, breathing and thriving expression of life. Physically, we are disconnected because most of us do not grow our own food and depend on corporate farms. Emotionally and spiritually we see God as a Being (Christianity- after the destruction of pagan/ pre-christian religions, God was placed into the hands of a few and now seen as a Man) rather than the creative life force that is nature and that surronds us. What is divine? Is it a man? Or Is it flowing in the rivers, whispering in the wind and singing from the vocal cords of a canary.
That which is above dualism, that which creates and maintains this whole universe is here and now, surrounding us. Yet we have been taught that god rests In a human form and so our minds have been formulated to believe that we must worship and praise something outside of ourselves. Rather, then that which is all around us and which makes up every molecule and atom in our body. This powerful energy of creation is within us and it is through connecting back to our selves that we heal our connections with the earth. We are all interconnected, everything is sacred. The world is a temple and when we see it like that instead of just having what is special in a church we live Respectfully. We are creators and our outer world reflects our inner world. It’s time to reconnect, it’s time to heal our relationship with the earth.
