The flower of life mala. The flower of life is an ancient symbol that was used by the mystery schools. It was kept secret for a long time. It is said to hold the keys to creation and includes a lot of important geometrical and mathematical measurements. It reveals how the universe works and it is beautiful as it is meaningful. It is one of my favourite symbols. 🙏 This mala has lava stone which makes it aromatherapy diffusing. You can use your favourite essential oil with it and you can have the scent last for days. I am not this body. I am not these lips. I am not these eyes. I am not the clothes I wear. I am not what others call me. 💎 I am presence, awareness - SPIRIT. 💎 The pressure we put on ourselves to look and be perfect, to fit an illusion is a waste of energy. 💎 The body is impermanent. The body ages, wrinkles, changes and eventually becomes Earth once more. 🦋 You are not your body. You are the occupier of the body. You are the Spirit within the body. 💎 Its important to respect the body. Give it healthy food and rest and honour it like a temple but do not get caught up in associating yourself with it. 💎 Your Spirit is the driving force here. It is the one to pay attention to, to live for. We try to please the body and forget about the Spirit. There is no satisfaction if the Spirit is not acknowledged. 💎 When we start to look at people like Temples carrying the god and the goddess within themselves, we begin to see the deeper meaning of life. That there is always more than meets the eye. There is so much hidden, and so many mysteries waiting for us to discover them. When we see the Spirit, we enter into the sacred. 💗 Letting go with the obsession of the body we find peace. Because we don’t have to be the most beautiful. We don’t have to look perfect all the time and if we do get a wrinkle we’ll that’s natural and normal. When we think we are the body we create a lot of suffering as we age. Our mind always wants to create labels for what we are. The quest begins once we become self conscious as a toddler. Then we try on different identities to see what fits. What am I? Who am I? The quest never needs to be fulfilled. I know I did this for a long time. Trying to be all these people I wasn’t. Each time I really thought it was it, but then I would change. Every time I tried to be something, I was missing the point of who I was. 🦋We think we are something and then shift into something else and years later we say ‘im this, not that’. Year later ‘ no I am this, totally this, not that’. 🦋 The point? The self is fluid. The self, the real you cannot be labelled because you not permanent. You are not a thing but an awareness of states. You are the I AM before you put a label on it. YOU ARE PRESENCE. You are the witness. You are the one experiencing the experience. You are the awareness. Not the product, not the identity. You are not your job, your role, the clothing you wear, your sex, your body, your spiritual practice, your sport etc. You are the presence that experiences these things. 🦋 When you stop trying to put something after I AM, you are free to be whatever you want to be in this moment, in this life. Isn’t that so much more fun, more free? No need to chase being something. You are already it. You are.
